Case studies from Asia and Africa

Puzzles for innovation - Book coverThe collection of case studies put together in this booklet is dedicated to Afghanistan and to the Afghan participants of the Master programmes Management of Development (MoD) and Agricultural Production Chain Management (APCM) run by Van Hall Larenstein University.

The writers wanted to encourage the Afghan community by showing that the development processes they are experiencing are not different to those seen elsewhere, even if the general context is particularly difficult. Other southern countries, institutions and programmes encounter similar barriers in their struggle for the shared ambition of innovation and learning in order to alleviate rural poverty.
