This book provides the reader with information to combat the growing use of pesticides in Brazil in recent years. It informs the reader on legislation, on programs to monitor residues in food, on how to identify, control, report and prevent cases of poisoning, and on toxicology review processes of pesticides permitted in Brazil.
Additionally, the book provides objective, practical guidelines to combat irregularities, to improve control mechanisms, and to resist this model of agriculture that poisons fields, cities, water, air and people.
The book, written by Flavia Londres, is jointly published by the Articulacão Nacional de Agroecologia (ANA) and the Rede Brasileira de Justiça Ambiental (RBJA).
