Agricultura sostenible
The development of sustainable agriculture in Latin America is leaving back schemes imposing conventional agriculture advances with local knowledge and innovations. This little book is a example of a new understanding of agriculture and its role as an activity ecologically, economically and socially viable for rural producers. It is also an anthology that selects and synthesizes articles published in LEISA Magazine, which are always concrete experiences from the field.
The aim of the book is to disclose a general reflection on low external input agriculture under three main respects:
- knowledge and techniques concerning local biodiversity,
- social context,
- economics.
For each of these three topics we selected a collection of articles previously published in LEISA.
