Let Farmers Judge
A diverse collection of reports from researchers and fieldworkers about measuring the effectiveness of innovations within smallholder farming systems. Attention is given to methodological aspects, with emphasis on joining farmers’ assessment, evaluating new technologies together with farmers and according to their criteria.
Several case studies present both quantitative and qualitative data which indicate the kind of comparative information presently available about ecologically-oriented farming techniques and systems. This is the second volume in the series of “ILEIA Readings in sustainable Agriculture”.
