The articles presented here suggest the following steps to build innovative learning processes in agroecology: (a) To consolidate, replicate and scale experiences. The dissemination of lessons learned thanks to local experiences can provide inputs to make decisions about resource management. (b) Coordinating efforts at regional level. Experience teaches us that individual efforts, if let alone, are doomed to be unsuccessful. Therefore, the creation of networks with the purpose of spread knowledge is a mechanism that will contribute to the consolidation of successful and innovative experiences in the region. (c) Linking research to intervention. Learning and skills development are not any more just an academic business. The link with areas of intervention is essential.
