27: Kedaulatan Pangan

(In Indonesian):Food sovereignty. How to revive local food in order to have food sovereignty. Ideally the food sovereignty movement is fighting for the rights to food and farmers.

Food safety, health and affordable prices should be available to everyone. Food producers, especially farmers should not experience food insecurity. The right to affordable food, especially for farmers, is often violeted by the state. This occurs due to a more pro-agriculture market and because institutions are failing to implement policies, including those to protect farmers as well as food-related governmental policies. Women, small scale farming and innovation are issues that need to be tackled to enable food sovereignty.
