4 - Dealing with climate change
Farmers have been practicing farming in contextual factors beyond their control. Climate is one of them. With the new understanding that climate change is real, happening, and inevitable, the complexities involved in farming have become manifold.
There are several shining examples world wide, where farmers are practicing alternative agriculture approaches through better management of natural resources, more productive farming systems while being extremely sensitive in making choices of options which are less damaging to the environment.
In this issue, we compiled such perspectives and experiences which are dealing with coping mechanisms, alternative agricultural approaches, practices and processes.
