3 - Restoring Bio diversity
Human started using nature to sustain themselves as hunters and gatheres. When the population increased the natural environment can not support anymore. Human were forced to domesticate certain plants and animals that can caused to the natural damaged.
The greatest loss of biodiversity in India in recent times, was caused by the green revolution technologies which were adopted and promoted by the Government of India since the sixties. This was a response to food shortages experienced. The idea of ecological farming, organic farming and reintroduction of herbs into farming system will contribute much to maintaining if not increasing agricultural bio-diversity.
