Send your message to Rio
Several weeks ago, the Zero Draft was published on different websites, presenting the basis of what will be the final resolution of the Rio+20 conference.
While some have seen this as “a major step forward”, others have rightly pointed that the document does not mention sustainable agriculture or family farming. How can a document seeking to set the direction of a future “green economy” leave out 400 million farm families?
It is time to let the people at the UN conference hear the voices of small-scale farmers and people working with them. In Rio, ILEIA wants to show as many messages as possible from all of you, in the form of photos.
Our main message is that small scale farmers deserve recognition. What would you tell those at the negotiating tables? Join us by sending your photos and your ideas!
